Will try to enter this $50.00 in our family budget plan and pay this coming fall. Sincerely - Tom McBride." An envelope addressed to Bob Tice was enclosed.

Description: Letter from M. D. Landin to M. D. Landin in a prisoner of war camp in Moulmein, Burma. The letter discusses number and nationality of prisoners, as well as the living and working conditions. It is said the commander tries to treat prisoners kindly, and discusses the pay rate (based on rank and work done). Handwritten text on the back of the postcard: "I am feeling fine and hope you are the same. Goodby. M. D. Landin."
