United States Confluence Theater

Description: An artistic illustration of the United States Confluence Theater, one of two pavilions of the United States at HemisFair '68. It is a 70 foot high structure which had the largest curvilinear motion picture screen in the world. The Francis Thompson film, "Confluence, U.S.A." was shown in the theatre during the fair.

Hemisfair Model

Description: A color photograph of a three-dimensional model of the HemisFair '68 grounds. The most prominent building shown is the Tower of the Americas, which includes an observation deck and revolving restaurant at the top. A portion of the 10,500 seat arena is visible to the left. Also visible is a part of the lake at Fiesta Island, along with lagoon boats on some of the waterways.
