Description:
Patent for a stock-loader that loads cattle onto locomotive cars and does not use a gangway. It is a "movable floor or platform which, by means of suitable mechanism, is moved toward the car, thus carrying the stock thereinto whether they face in the direction of movement or not, and without effort upon their part" (lines 15-20).
