Patent for a new and improved saddle. This design "consists in a rubber or other elastic seat having a thick central portion with tapering thin edges and a leather covering for the same" (lines 9-11).

Patent for a wood boring machine "which is especially adapted to bore holes of extreme length in columns or like structural members by cutting away only a portion of the wood forming hole in same" (lines 11-15).
Buckle.

This design is for a double buckle, "of such a construction that secure fastenings may be obtained, and the two ends of a strap or the adjacent ends of different straps may be readily secured together in a reliable manner, thus admitting of the speedy manufacture of sets of harnesses" (lines 13-18). Cotton Cleaning and Extracting Machine.
