Hoop Fastening for Buckets, &c.

Description: Patent for a new and improved fastener for barrels and buckets. This design "consists of a metal strap provided with side tongues and having its ends bent around the upper and lower hoops and the side tongues bent around the intermediate hoops. . . . to prevent them from dropping off when the vessel dries and shrinks" (lines 10-17).
