Improvement in Neck-Yokes.

Description: Patent for "an improvement in the class of neck-yokes having a swivel-joint connection with a carriage or wagon pole; and it consists in providing the neck-yoke with a central enlargement or boss, and connecting the tube which slips on the end of the carriage-pole with the yoke by means of rings having perforated ears to receive the ends of a pivoted bar, to which the pole ring or tube is swiveled." Improvement in Breech-Loading Fire-Arms.

Description: Patent for improvements in Winchester Repeating fire-arms, or magazine fire-arms. Patent for improvements in the "interior mechanism for operating the breech-block and resisting the recoil, and in the combination of parts". Patent that increases strength and capability to resist recoil, increases the charge of powder.
