Description:
Patent for "an adjustable hinge for use in connection with a suitable upper hinge, for supporting gates in such manner as to permit of their being opened in either direction and allowed to close automatically," and which "also allows the gate to be adjusted to suit the inclination of its supporting-post, or to have its outer end elevated to a sufficient degree to permit dogs and other small animals to pass freely under same when closed."
