Ant Trap
Patent for an ant trap designed as a ring-shaped trough and which allows for the drainage of rainwater through a pipe fitted with a porous plug. Both walls of the trough are capped with inward and downward curved flanges.

Patent for an improvement to canal-gates that is "a simple and comparatively inexpensive contrivance for receiving a handle of the shank of a handle which is attached to the lock or gate" (lines 18-22) including an illustration.

Patent for attachments in tractors. "This invention relates to tractors and has for its object the provision of means where by when the front axle and wheels of the tractor rise caused by rearing of the tractor, the clutch will be automatically disconnected and remain so until the front wheels of the tractor descend again into engagement with the ground. An important and more specific object is the provision in a tractor of a front axle formed n sections pivotally connected, one section being connected by suitable means with the clutch mechanism and the wheels serving as weights whereby when the tractor rears back and the front wheels leave the ground the axle sections will move relatively and exert a pull upon the means connected with the clutch whereby the clutch will be thrown out."
Knife-Sharpener.
Patent for improvements in knife-sharpeners that can be clamped onto a table or similar object, including an illustration. The device has also been "adapted for use in connection with a pair of bits or cutters having convex cutting edges disposed in confronting relation, the bits or cutters being capable of adjustment to present new portions of the respective cutting edges for effective work as the occasion requires" (lines 17-23).
