Gate.

Description: Patent for a gate that improves "the construction of sliding gates, and to provide a simple and inexpensive one, which will be positive and reliable in its operation, and which may be opened and closed a distance from it approaching it in either direction, without dismounting or leaving a vehicle" (lines 10-16). It also prevents farm animals from passing through when the gate is closed.
