Patent for an improved apparatus for scraping lechugilla, henequen, and analogous fibrous plants. This apparatus scrapes the stalks of the plants mechanically and separates the pulp from the fiber of the plant so that the fiber will be cleaned and ready for use.

Process of Leaching Copper Ores
Patent for "a method of recovering copper by the electrolysis of copper solutions of any suitable kind, obtained by the lixiviation of the ore" (lines 9-12). The improvement in this method is that almost all the sulfuric acid and other leaching agents are used up prior to the copper going to the electrolysis tanks which increases the amount of copper recovered and the reduction of accumulated biproducts.
