Aerial Projectile and Launching Mechanism Therefor
This document is a patent for the invention of the Aerial Projectile and Launching Mechanism Therefor. According to its inventor Frank M. Bell, the object of this mechanism is to fire aerial projectiles or torpedoes more accurately at their intended target. This mechanism can be called an anti-observation balloon/zeppelin weapon and it would see some usage by the Allied air forces during this conflict.

Implement for Replacing Inner Tubes of Pneumatic Tires.
Patent for a device for replacing the inner tubes of pneumatic tires, designed especially for bicycle tires. The device "will take hold of the end of the inner tube without liability of cutting it, and that will grip it with a degree of tightness proportionate to the amount of force required to pull it through the outer casing" (lines 41-45). This is easier than previous methods of replacing inner tubes.

Process of Leaching Copper Ores
Patent for "a method of recovering copper by the electrolysis of copper solutions of any suitable kind, obtained by the lixiviation of the ore" (lines 9-12). The improvement in this method is that almost all the sulfuric acid and other leaching agents are used up prior to the copper going to the electrolysis tanks which increases the amount of copper recovered and the reduction of accumulated biproducts.
Projecting-Machine.
Patent for improvements to a projector that relate to advertising. The inventor references adjustments to a previous patent, No. 1069521 from August 5, 1913. Adjustments include making the device more accurate and reliable, and to adapt it to be able to display opaque surfaces, postcards, and other printed items during any time of day. Additionally, the revoluble slide magazine has a mechanism that allows it to operate continuously without assistance from the operator.
