[C.B. Dorchester headstone and historic marker]

Description: Photograph of the grave of C.B. Dorchester at a grave marking ceremony in Sherman, Texas on May 18, 2019. The headstone reads, "C.B. Dorchester 1856-1932." On the ground beneath the headstone is a plaque that reads, "Dedication of this marker by Edmund Terrill Chapter #34, Texas Sons of the American Revolution May 18, 2019." The SAR insignia has been engraved into the left side of the plaque.

Description: These are documents from the Charles B. Moore Collection. The documents include a clipping and two tickets. The clipping details that P. O'Reilly and W. L. McCormick were elected as alderman to fill the position in their respective wards. On the reverse side of the clipping is a marriage announcement for Linnet Moore and Claude White; the reason this clipping was cut and saved.
