Glass Axe

Description: Clear glass axe or hatchet, made at the Libbey Glass Company display as a souvenir of the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. One side of blade with relief inscription "World's Fair / 1893"; other side of blade with relief portrait of George Washington, and inscription "The Father Of His Country". Handle with relief inscription near base: "Libbey Glass Co / Toledo, Ohio."

Description: A group of 6 spoons from the 1893 Chicago "World's Columbian Exposition" world's fair. Silverplated souvenir teaspoons, each with scrolling forms on handle. Bowl of each spoon is engraved with a view of a different building from the exposition: U.S. Government Building; Horticultural Building; Mines and Mining Building; Machinery Hall; Transportation Building; Manufacturers & Liberal Arts [Building].

Tommy and Dobbin

Description: Set of 11 wooden blocks, hand-painted, which make up the bodies of Tommy the soldier and his horse Dobbin. Contained in wooden box with sliding lid, lid with colored illustration of the blocks and title; underside of lid with colored illustration showing 5 different ways the blocks can be arranged to make Tommy & Dobbin in different poses. Affixed to inside bottom of case is a second colored illustration showing 6 more poses.
