The news includes: a discussion about her correspondences, an apology for not writing a quick reply to Moore and White, a discussion about the grippe outbreak and news about those who are sick with pneumonia, a dialogue about Bailey Love's death, a dialogue about the mud and how it makes the agricultural work much harder, news about her weaving project, a discussion about traveling to see family in Nashville, and updates on the prices of meat and an aside on the production of eggs this winter. She closes the letter by sending love and well-wishes to all.
