Getty Sponsors Nation's Largest Art Education Reform Initiative
A press information release on the Getty Center for Education in the Arts organizing one of the largest art education reform effort to be established. The reform program established itself with six institutes, reaching over two-hundred school districts in fifteen states and affecting nearly one million students since 1988. The purpose of the reform program is to train educators to use art in core education and implement art education programs to improve the curriculum.
