Flower Mound Presbyterian Church, displaying the words "service since 1854". The church was organized in 1854, but the building pictured was built in 1901 and is the oldest wood-framed building in Denton County.
Marguerite Minter Scott and a classmate at Denton College of Industrial Arts (now Texas Woman's University). Marguerite was the daughter of Amanda Maud Burnet Minter, who was the sister to Texas cattleman, Burk Burnet and wife to James Barkley, son of B.F. Barkley.
