[Texaco Airplane]

Description: Photograph of an airplane belonging to Texaco Oil Company. The plane is in a large, open field with its propellers moving. The 14-passenger plane was used to fly passengers between the Texaco Airport and Port Arthur in the 1930's. Accompanying information states that the plane crashed in the late 30's, killing five men, including the pilot and oil company manager.

Description: Photograph of the Texaco Island in Port Arthur, TX. Several tankers are at dock on the island. Storage tanks for petroleum products are on the shore. The Intracoastal Waterway is running through the Murphree Wildlife Management Area. All the waterways lead to the top of the picture, where the Gulf of Mexico is visible.

[Texaco Plant Personnel Showers]

Description: Photograph of the personnel showers at the Texaco plant in Port Arthur, TX. The showers are very simple. The floor is concrete and the walls are wooden planks. A single pipe is protruding up from the floor and connects to another pipe which has four shower heads. A small space heater is outside the shower to the left.
