St. Peter's Novitiate, La Lomita, Mission, Texas
St. Peter's Novitiate was built on the ranchlands willed to the Oblate Order of Mary Immaculate in 1912 by architect Frederick B. Gaenslen. The ruins of the seminary which was nearly destroyed by fire in 2009 are located on the hilltop near La Lomita Chapel.
