The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with L M McGregor. McGregor joined the Navy in June of 1942. He completed boot camp in San Diego. He served aboard the USS Sperry (AS-12) for the duration of the war. They went to Pearl Harbor, the Marshall Islands, Midway, Brisbane, Australia all before December of 1942.
