Booklet titled "A Handbook for Air Raid Wardens," which was one of a series of handbooks published by the United States Office of Civilian Defense instructing civil defense workers in their duties. The handbook includes information regarding the chain of command and equipment for air raid wardens, duties prior to an air attack, reporting procedure, coordination of services, home preparation and response to an air raid, and how to handle specific types of attacks (magnesium bombs, gases, etc.).
