The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Carl Duncan. Duncan joined the Navy around 1944. In February of 1945, he completed Midshipman’s School, and received his commission in July. He recalls his experiences and the celebrations in New York’s Times Square on both V-E Day and V-J Day.
