Smith advises Carswell that he and several of the men will attend the Albany Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet and wanted to avoid being absent for inspection if it was planned for the same evening. He expresses his appreciation for the courtesy shown to them by Carswell and the other officers and by the Chamber of Commerce.
