Description: A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from Jeff Davis, Executive Secretary, United Texas Drys, dated June 3, 1942. Davis confirms that Bishop Boaz will be with Brother Douglas Carver on June 14, glad Carswell is "getting" a group to go to Austin and enthusiatically advises, in a postscript, that Marion County voted dry on Saturday giving them 129 totally dry counties to date. The reverse side includes a handwritten note, "Cash 28.00" and dated June 7, 1942.
