An anonymous writer expresses anger regarding a letter sent by Carswell addressed to "Friends and voters in Precinct 12," accusing Carswell and Allan Shivers of having split the Democratic Party, the consequence of which "will no doubt have Jefferson and Jackson turn over in their graves."
