This letter from the American Veteran Industries had the newspaper article with picture of Mr. And Mrs. A.P. George Accession # 2000.020.005a. The letter reads: "American Veteran Industries P. O. Box 834 Kansas City, Missouri. Attention: The American Veteran has selected YOUR Article! Your new item containing memories of the golden past has been preserved by the process of Permolasting to defy the elements of time, air and water. Your remittance of $1.00 or more if you wish would be greatly appreciated so that we may continue our work. If you desire we can obtain additional copies through the courtesy of the publishers. Your Favorite photographs, membership cards, social security cards, etc., can also be processed for a small fee if you will send them to us. Enclosed for your convenience is a prepaid remittance envelope. Thank you in advance for your reply. Sincerely yours, The American Veteran."
