Photograph of a group of ten men (one man standing to left and partial view of man to right are not part of the focal group). Six of the men in the front row are seated on a rock ledge sidewalk that leads to a building (doors in right background). Four men are standing in the back row. The photograph may be of a group of veterans (possibly from the Mier Expedition?) or members of the Veterans Legion of Honor who have gathered together for a reunion. William Kinchen is, from left to right, the third man in the bottom row. He is wearing a dark three piece suit and has his hands folded across the top of his cane. He is holding his hat in his left hand. He has his right leg crossed over his left leg. The image is an oval and is on a cardboard substrate. On back of photo in pencil: "WKD/ph 3:2" Image dimensions are: 18.4 cm x 12.3 cm.
Three ribbons pinned together. They are identical in the image of the Texas flag. First one states: "ANNUAL REUNION TEXAS VETERANS BELTON, 1883." Second and third one state: "Annual Reunion TEXAS VETERANS Waco, 1882." Old Object Term: Commemorative ribbon
