Description: Patent for improvement in andirons “which is so arranged as to permit ready access to the fireplace for the purpose of cleaning out the ashes and having a removable fender which is capable of being quickly and readily removed or placed in position to retain the fire and prevent the fire from rolling out the fireplace.” (Lines 47-54.)
