Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and James F. Cherry Meet in the Pacific During WWII

Description: Photograph of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and James F. Cherry meeting in the Pacific during WWII. Admiral Nimitz was a Kerrville native and former Tivy school student, James F. Cherry was from San Antonio but attended Schreiner Institute before joining the U. S. Navy and serving in WWII.
