Texas Posten
About the Collection
With its premiere issue published on April 18, 1896, the Texas Posten was the first Swedish-language newspaper printed in Texas. The longest-surviving Swedish-Texan newspaper, it closed its doors in 1982 after nearly 100 years of publication. The 1896-1902 issues of the Texas Posten were digitized through the generous support of Texas Cultures Online.
