Cornwall states that Litchfield called claiming to have information that he saw Oswald in company with Ruby, and he came into the Special Service Bureau for an interview and polygraph test. In the opinion of Detective R. D. Lewis it was thought that Litchfield was being untruthful about the questions asked.

McCaghren states that a Mrs. Joe Baily Blackwell informed another person that her sister and husband were driving their car in almost the exact same spot where the President was shot approximately one week before, when a bullet entered the rear window on the left side of the vehicle.
