Truly states that Oswald was a temporary employee and that he saw him briefly in the lunch room following the shots on November 22nd, after which he went missing. An officer entered the building and Roy Truly assisted him in searching the facility.

Carroll states that he went into the Texas Theater with other officers at 2 pm in order to apprehend Lee Harvey Oswald. Carroll took Oswald's pistol from him and later released it to Jerry Hill.

Then he saw a policeman lying on the ground in the street. He states that the policeman was bloody and looked dead.
