The following glossary is be-
ing provided to help new students
"better understand chapelassem-
bly requirements.
ASSEMBLY- -(e-sem-ble) held
on Thursday mornings from 9:20-
10:10 a.m. in Behrens Audito-
rium. BOISTEROUS - (boi-ster-es)
loud noisy and unrestrained. Un-
acceptable behavior during
chapelassembly.
CHAPEL. - (chap-el) held on
Tuesday mornings from 9:20-
10:10 a.m. in Behrens Audito-
rium. CHAPEL TICKET - (chap-el
tik-it) a special piece of paper on
which you must write your name '
and HSU ID number to receive
. credit for-each attendance.
COMPLETED REQUIRE-
MENT - (kem-plet-ed re-kwir-ment)
a notation which will ap-
pear in your school records when
you have earned four semesters of
credit.
qON VOCATION - (kon-vo-ka-shen)
marks the official-beginning
of school (and chapelassem-
bly credit; held on Thursday Sep-
tember 1 1994.
DEGREE - (di-gre) something
m you will not be able to get without
completing the Chapel require-
ment. HSU ID NUMBER - (hsu eye d
num-ber) a number the school uses
for your records four to six num-
bers in length which is NOT the
same as your social security num-
ber. It can be found on any bill or
class schedule.

(re'-lig-es ak-tiv-e-ties) the office
where chapel questions may be
answered and records are kept.
REQUIRED - (re-kwir-ed) some-
thing you MUST do in order to
graduate from HSU.
TWENTY - (twen-te) the mini-
mum number of times you must
attend chapelassembly each se-
mester to earn a credit.
TRANSCRIPT - (tran-skript)
