And indeed it was Company ONE - the first one
the pioneer of a new era.
Last year at this time Summerstage was little more
than a dream. . .a question mark. . ."Will it work?"
"Will the students like the idea?"
Today there is no question that Summerstage both
worked and was liked - in the ultimate. In addition to
the regularly scheduled performances casts of the
three shows were frequently called on for special
packed-house performances. Audiences sometimes
included nationally known political figures the famous
civic leader young and old alike.
Summerstage was a hit to say the least. In fact
it's worth being here for Summester just to be in or to
watch Summerstage Company Two. it-
