This morning at 1120 a fatal
headon collision occurred be-
tween Phelps and Dodge on the
south end resulting in the death
of Conductor Frank Austin and
Fireman Armstrong and tile se-
rious injury of Engineer Will
Mers Brakeman John Bryant
and Conductor Joe Wolfe
But meagre details could be had
as the Western Union wires were
down but it is learned the col-
lision was between freight No 51

pleasant surprise hist evening by
the High Five Club it being Miss
Weiss birthday
The game of high five was
played dancing was indulged in
and the guests were treated to dc
icious refreshments

street and leaves a wife and one
child
