books, his success must be greater and more easily
attained by the aid of good ones.
The Eclectic Educational Series is believed to be, as
a whole, better suited to the wants of intelligent educators,
in the present advancing state of primary education,
than any similar series yet published, and any
efforts to extend its use into our schools, is a real service
to the cause of education itself."
