A LINCOLN HOTEL
April 4, 1985
Dear Texas Historical Foundation Membership:
On behalf of The Driskill and Lincoln Hotel Corporation, I
congratulate the Texas Historical Foundation on the initiation of
the First Annual Heritage Celebration. We are proud The Driskill
was selected to serve as headquarters for your Annual Meeting and
fundraising events.
As you are probably aware, The Driskill is about to embark upon
its second century of first class hospitality and service. We are
extremely proud of the recent $4 million renovation of the hotel and
we invite you to take a few minutes to see how the Driskill has been
elegantly restored. We know you will be pleased to see a return to
the grand entrance on Brazos Street. I am sure many other fond
Driskill memories and remembrances will return as you wander through
the history-laden rooms and hallways.
As always, we sincerely appreciate your support and patronage
and wish you the best during this and all you upcoming visits to
Austin.
Sincerely
Ch rist oher
