ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
THE LIBRARY.
The Library contains more than eight thousand carefully selected
volumes. These books are carefully indexed so that students
do not lose time and effort in finding the best books on
the subjects, nor in reading inferior or out-of-date treaties. A
card-index shows what authors are represented on the book shelves,
what subjects are treated, how many pages in each book, and
the date of publication. Neither time nor effort has been spared
in selecting books nor in making card indexes. More than fifty
of the best periodicals touching the various fields of study are
on the shelves of the reading room.
TRAINING SCHOOL BUILDING.
This is a model training school building of four rooms. In
this the training school of the Department of Education is conducted.
The building is strictly modern in every respect.

blood folk-with hearts and souls and human sympathy. Our
boys and girls can get to them, at any time when they need help
or think they need help.
OUR STUDENTS AS TEACHERS.
Our students have made such a record as teachers, not alone
for efficiency in the school room, but for general conduct and
usefulness in the community, that the demand for them is greater
than we can supply each year. Next to our Bible Department
our Education Department is our pride. We are strengthening
it each year and we believe you will agree that it is an ideal
place to take your training. We are ambitious to help to supply
the public schools of Texas with the right kind of teachers.
THE RECORD AND STANDING OF A. C. C.
It was the first of our schools to obtain official recognition for
its work and the first to be classed as an A plus junior college.
It is the first of our institutions to develop into a college of the22
