(3) Fifteen entrance units and as many as nine courses,
"Sophomore."
(4) Full entrance and as many as eighteen courses,
"Junior."
(5) Full entrance and as many as twenty-seven courses,
"Senior."
2. Irregular.-A student is considered "irregular" when
he is taking the full amount of work but is not meeting the
requirements for a degree.
(In case an irregular student later desires to meet the requirements
for a degree, he must satisfy all entrance requirements before
being given college credit on work done.)
3. Special.-All students who take less than the minimum
amount of work are classed as "special." Only those
who have the consent of their parents or who are twenty-one
years of age will be permitted to exercise this privilege. These
students must maintain good conduct and make acceptable
grades, otherwise the privilege will be withdrawn.
DEFINITIONS OF COURSES.
A college course shall consist of sixty recitation-hours.
A course which meets twice per week for twelve weeks will
constitute two-fifth of a course; one that meets three times per
week for twelve weeks will constitute three-fifths of a course.
In case of a laboratory course, three hours in the laboratory
will be equivalent to one hour of recitation.
All college courses are designated by a number of three
digits. All courses whose hundred's digit is 1 are elementary
and open to freshmen and sophomores; those whose
hundred's digit is 2, are intermediate and open to sophomores
and juniors; those whose hundred's digit is 3, are
advanced and open to juniors and seniors.
All courses whose unit's digit is 3, meet on Tuesday, Thursday
and Saturday; those whose unit's digit is 2, meet on
Wednesday and Friday; those whose unit's digit is 5 meet
five days in the week.
