ELECTIVES.
Sociology.-A brief survey will be made of the field of
sociology after which the more important modern social problems
will be studied in detail. This course will be begun in the
fall and will continue for eighteen weeks. One-half unit credit.
Text: "Sociology and Modern Social Problems," Ellwood.
Economics.-A brief study will be made of the problems
relating to competition, trade, labor, capital, industries, transportation,
money, rent, supply and demand, wages, taxation and
so forth. Course begun mid-term of winter term, continuing
through the session. Text: "Elementary Economics," Carver.
Bookkeeping.-A thorough course in bookkeeping. This
course may be taken for one full credit or for one-half credit.

Commercial Geography.-A general course dealing with the
fundamentals of the subject. Text: To be selected.
Commercial Law.-Stress will be placed upon legal documents.
The student will get the practical side of the subject.
