ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
313.-General Physiology. A general study of the human
mechanism, including physiology experiments and laboratory
work in manual dissection. No prerequisite, but a knowledge of
Freshman Zoology recommended. Text: Martin's Human Body
(Advanced). Two hours recitation, three hours laboratory and
one hour library work. Not credited until after 323 is taken.
323.-General Physiology. Work in the study of nerves and
tissues; also in chemistry of food and digestion. Detailed study
of organs. Two hours recitation and three hours laboratory work.
Library assignments. 313 prerequisite.
CHEMISTRY.
115.-Descriptive Chemistry. A thorough introduction to the
fundamental principles of inorganic chemistry. Three hours
lecture-recitation and six hours laboratory.
125.-Continuation of Course 115. Completion of Descriptive
Chemistry. Thoroughness in laboratory stressed. This course
must be completed before credit is given for 115. Three hours
lecture-recitation and six hours laboratory.
235.-Food Analysis. A practical course in the study of a
large number of food products as to their calorific value, contents,
adulteration and general use. Three hours lecture and
six hours laboratory. Prerequisites, Chemistry 115-125.
315-325.-Elementary Organic Chemistry. Courses especially
prepared to meet the requirements of a Pre-Medical course.

PHYSICS.
115.-General Physics. The course deals with a good introduction
to the fundamentals of physics. Lectures, experiments,
problems, oral and written tests. Three hours lecture-recitation.
