In 1986, Texas celebrates the 150th anniversary of its birth as a independent Republic. To commemorate this
anniversary, the Confederate Calender Works has published a special Texas Calendar for the year 1986. The
Texas Calendar offers a daily listing of Texas historical events, and rare 19th century Texas photographs as illustrations.
