Celebrate the 100th Birthday of Heritage Farmstead at the
Heritage Fair-Saturday and Sunday, October 19th and 20th.
The 14th Annual Heritage Fair will be special this year
commem-orating the Farmstead's centennial. The Fair will be
held at the Farmstead-1900 W. 15th Street, Plano, Texas-on
Saturday, October 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and
Sunday, October 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Heritage Fair is the annual recognition of the historic harvest
season on the Blackland Prairie.Grand Prairie Symposium

The people of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Meyersville, Texas will celebrate a homecoming and
rededication of the Old Stone Church on Sunday, September
15, 1991-the 125th Anniversary of the laying of the
cornerstone of the church in 1866. The year 1991 will also be
the 140th Anniversary of the congregation's organization in
1851, making St. John one of the oldest Lutheran congregations
in the state.L
