The Fire Museum of Texas is housed in the 1927 vintage Beaumont Fire Department Headquarters Station, which was designated as a Texas historical landmark
in 1984. The State Fireman's and Fire Marshal's Association endorsed the museum as its official museum in January 1986.the Fire Museum and its educational programs.

The Fire Museum of Texas offers guided
tours through displays of antique fire bells,
leather buckets, and fire extinguishers.
Volunteer docents , museum staff, or Beaumont
Fire Department firefighters provide
fire prevention and safety demonstrations
to visitors during the one-hour tour. In
addition, all the exhibits are designed so
that the families and individuals may enjoy
a self-guided tour. The Fire Museum of
Texas hours are Monday through Friday
from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and admission
is free. Contact the museum office in Beaumont

and tour information.
