In Matamorci. Mexico Monday,
the Chamber oi Commerce
managers from all Mexican
towns along the border will
meet to discuss border prob-
lems.
And the main topics listed for
■discussion are the greater free-
dom of import of United States
goods into border towns, and
easing the entry problem of
United States Nationals into
Mexico.
At present a tourist card for
a United States tourist costs two
dollars and ten cents, But the
chamber managers will trv to
either reduce that charge or get
rid of it altogether.
On the United States side at
MeAllen, Paul T. Vickers, mana-
ge! of the MeAllen chamber says
he expects a "goodly number
of United States managers" to
attend the meeting.

When Stanley Nevers* told a
Hartford, Connecticut, Judge

support of his wife and two
hi.dren, the jurist asked why.
Nevers said he had a lame
ack. Asked how he had in-
ured himsell, the New Britain.
Connecticut, man said:
•'Changing a diaper on the
baby, your honor."
He was ordered to pay S20 a
week support and lawyers fees.

Is Hiked Again
WASHINGTON, Nov. 22, (UP)
—The Labor Department re-
ports that the official cost of
living has gone up again.
Between the middle of August
and the middle of September,
the Department says living costs
rose two and two-tenths per
cent. It says that during the
month, there was an increase in
prices of food, rents, clothing,
fuel and house furnishings.
In the congressional campaign
against high prices, the Senate
mav start legislation rolling
against inflation December 1st.
