LEE CORNELIUS
Last year Lee came out just to see if he
could handle a fooball and the coaches figured
that he could handle it well enough to receive
a letter. This year Lee was in every game,
and he was noted for his fighting spirit-for
literally "grinding down" his opponent. Lee
will be greatly missed next year.BRASWELL DICKINSON f 4
Here is a gritty man who played the game 't
because he loved it, and he certainly did "play
the game." Dickinson's cool judgment and
fighting spirit led the team to many victories
and his place will be hard to fill.

LEON SMITH
Although a new man in school and a new
Sman at the game, Leon surprised himself and
everyone else by his natural ability to "hit
that line." He fought every minute of the
game, was always composed, hardly ever
speaking a word in a game. He will be a
&" great help to the team next year.S23
