HENRY CARTER
"Pap" was a new man at the game, but possessing a physical build
that made up for his inexperience, with determination that made a sure
tackler and powerful defensive man.
CARL GRIFFIN
Carl, a hard plunging full-back from Haskell, is a real man in athletics
and can always be depended upon. His ability at taking men out of the
play was the success of our end runs.
II A. J. SAXON
L A. J. began the season as full back but in practice one day we found
one of the most powerful centers in State high school circles. On both the
offense and defense he could handle the center of any high school team.
PAUL SEAMSTER
Paul demonstrated his ability as a hard hitting line plunger in the
game against Senior High. He was used at half and full all the season.
MANN TOMLINSON
With ability and willingness to follow and carry out instructions made
a powerful line man out of him. Very few opponents could stand his
terrific charging for a whole game.
FRANK COLWELL
"Red" was another end that could b- depended upon in most of the
hardest games. His ability to handle the ball helped him to cross the goal
line several times.
LEE CORNELIUS
Lee was the last and one of the most valuable finds of the season. In
the Cleburne game when we needed a man the most, Lee proved himself
for the place. Possessing the fight characteristic of his type, he will
make a star next season.
