Social Studies Department Develops
STUDYING HISTORY in these exciting times is no longer con-
sidered a dull chore, for many of the newest techniques in
teaching are employed in this department. Extensive use is
made of films and film strips, and team teaching speeds the
learning process. Lively discussion is encouraged by all teach-
ers, and a trip down the social studies area verifies the fact
that World History, American History, Government, Econom-
ics, Advanced Social Science Problems, and Advanced
Government are indeed being taught.
Miss Aliece Anderson, a teacher noted for her high standards
of learning and teaching, retired at the end of the year.
