good members in society engaged in the Sunday-school enterprise, as we
believe it one of the auxiliaries to the church of our heavenly Redeemer.
I would that I was prepared to give the number of Sunday-school scholars
that have been added to our churches this last associational year. So far
as my knowledge extends fully one-half of the number have been of this
class where there has been regular Sunday-schools kept up. Then should
we not be encouraged to persevere in this blessed work.
Your committee feels his incompetency (to the task) to do this subject
justice. We can only pray that the blessed Spirit will so operate upon
us all that we may discharge our every duty in this as well as all the
duties incumbent upon us as Christians.

Resolved, That this Association earnestly requests all the churches to
keep up a Baptist Sabbath-school in every church and report its con-
dition to the next session of this body.
Adjourned to meet Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock.
TUESDAY MORNING, 8 O'CLOCK.
After prayer by Elder J. S. Holmes, it was voted that all
the money collected for missionary purposes should be paid
over to Elder Wright, and that we desire aid from the State
Convention for our missionary.
The Report on Domestic Missions was read and adopted,
as follows:
REPORT ON DOMESTIC MISSIONS.
Having been appointed to report on Domestic Missions in the bounds
of our Association, I beg leave to make the following report:
We have had a missionary in the field for a portion of the year, who
has done good service, and his labors have been greatly blessed; yet he
has been able to cultivate but a small portion of the vast field that needs
the Gospel.
