Smeltzer signed a Decision Notice and Finding
of No Significant Impact for the Invasive Plant
Management Project on the Black Kettle

homa and Gray and Hemphill Counties in Texas.
The selected alternative provides for a variety of
treatment options, thereby allowing for the most
effective strategy to contain, control, or eradicate
invasive plants. Treatments will include manual*
mechanical, controlled grazing, prescribed fire,
and herbicide methods. Each treatment will be
dependent on the type of plant, the area's eco-
logical objectives, and site-specific conditions.

Notice/Finding of No Significant Impact are avail-
able at the Black Kettle Ranger District Office,

tronically at http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/cibola/projects/
