Gear folks at home,-Ihe
Wolf Eidae meeting started last Friday night
and I have been on the around visiting around among
the people most ever since. Threshing season has
been delayed again and I'm afraid -that some of the
people will be hindered from attending thruout the
entire meeting. However,one crew working about one
mile from the church has been coming over in their
work clothes, influenced larel:i by the owners of the
thresher, two of whom are elders and one a deacon in
our ohuroh. The ladies of the house cook supper early
and leave it cold for the hands so they can go to
church in time for the aong and prayer service. Lots
of interested is being shown by the young people who
are very aotive all the time in that church. If I
ever eot a oar I am Ooan to spend.a great deal more
time with those young people than with these in town,
for they are much more teachable and willing to work.
Yesterday we rad a bid ball game between the
Rotariane and the Kiwanians whioh resulted in a score
of 8 to 2 in favor of Kiwanis. We felt like all the
time we oould beat them and yesterdays game proved it.
I am planning to leave on the early morning train
to Ft Worth Monday morning and catoh that morning.
Rock Island mixed train to Graham,arriving there about
1 o'clock or thereafter,and then go on out to Eliasvill
on the first train that will take me unless someone
is there to meet me in a oar. If no one meets me I
